Margot Chvatal joined Hirschl & Adler in 2013 after 12 years with Christie’s auction house, most recently as Senior Vice President, Senior Specialist. At Christie’s she was primarily responsible for cultivating business and promoting American Paintings and Sculpture sales and maintaining relationships with and advising significant private collectors, institutions and museums. From 2004 to 2010, Margot was Head of the Important American Paintings and Sculpture sales. During her tenure she was instrumental in securing several key consignments and major collections.
Prior to Christie’s, Margot was the fine arts specialist at auction house Weschler’s in Washington, D.C. from 1996 to 2000. She began her career at Skinner auctioneers in Boston. Margot received Bachelors of Arts degrees in Art History and History from Boston University.
